Light Hair Braiding and Salon

I got waist length boho braids at Light Hair Braiding and Salon and this is now the only place I will go to in Jacksonville for braids. My hair is absolutely gorgeous. My entire family is blown away at how beautiful it looks. My scalp does not hurt at all. The salon is spotlessly clean and welcoming. There was no delay in getting me into the chair and the two sweet ladies braiding my hair worked tirelessly and diligently. I have very fine hair and they were so careful to care for my hair and not just slap braids in. The owner has a beautiful spirit that permeates throughout her salon.

I hate that 5 stars is the max you can give because Modupe is worth so much more. Modupe is awesome!!! She accommodated my early morning appointment request. The shop is absolutely beautiful and inviting. Her mannerism, professionalism, attention to detail is better than any other hair braider I've encountered in Jacksonville. I'm looking forward to back for my next style. I highly recommend Modupe. You will not be disappointed.

Lighthouse braiding was one of the best experience I’ve ever had! New braiding shop off of Arlington Boulevard is spacious ,bright and the owner is wonderful! I love my hair so much! positive godly can’t ask for anything More! I will return again and again, thank you so much they have blessed hands!

Phenomenal hair braiding. I got the Senegalese twists. Love the way they turned out. Very patient to help you get the look you want. She far exceeded my expectations and you will absolutely love her shop. It’s beautifully decorated. I’ll be back for sure!

OMG my appointment was EVERYTHING 😍 from booking to arrival. As requested EARLY morning appt (6am -10:30am) She was fast, I didn’t feel any discomfort from tightness (from most braiders). My twist are very neat. Now let’s talk about this shop 🏠it is BEAUTIFUL ladies, very welcoming gives an elegant feel. The vibe in there is amazing. She really did her big one. Glad I found my forever braider/stylist (she does it all)
