LH Massage

This is such a great place to go to for a massage for that well deserved me time. The staff are always so sweet. Just got done with my massage and this whole week I’ve been dealing with a stiff back. My masseuse, Linda, did an amazing job massaging my upper back. I feel so relaxed.

Ask for Amy If you want a real, firm massage to address those muscle knots and adhesions. This is important, because alot of different kind of people come here for a massage, and some of those people prefer the more "relaxing" kind and not one that takes care of the aches and pains and that more active people tend to get. Again, ask for Amy if you want someone who will take care of you and actually help you get better. Believe or not, she is probably the strongest therapist there, and that includes being stronger than the males. (You can also call ahead and make an appointment). Andy also does a good job, too, if for any reason you can't secure a slot with Amy.

I go to LH Massage every 2-3 months to ease my tight shoulders and sciatica. The staff here are very nice and extremely hard working! I always feel so much lighter after each session, and they always give you a cup of water to hydrate after the massage (you WILL be dehydrated after each session). I also definitely recommend adding cupping therapy to your massage as well — just be aware that the first time will be a little painful in the beginning, but it should go away pretty quickly as the cups sit on your back. And make sure you don’t shower for 24 hours after cupping therapy as it can infect your skin after the cups open your pores up.

I honestly don’t understand how this place has good reviews. It was a complete waste of time and money. The room smelled old and musty, and even the massage table had an unpleasant odor. The massage itself was very disappointing, it felt like random pressing and rubbing rather than someone who actually understands proper technique. The atmosphere was far from relaxing. There was no music in the room, and people in the lobby were talking loudly the entire time, which you could clearly hear. It completely ruined any chance of a peaceful experience. They also encourage customers to leave a review for a chance to win a free massage, which might explain the high ratings you see. Never going back.

The regular portion of the massage was perfunctory. It happened, but wasn't outstanding, just serviceable. Amy got a $50+ tip for he-stroking. She's a petite girl who did more for me at her prior job location, but she is a higher volume provider nowadays.
