Lavish Nail Spa

I went to this salon for a soak-off, overlay, one sweater nail, and a simple line design on another nail. As the tech started designing my nails, I told him they looked plain and not at all what I had imagined. He insisted he could fix it, but after already sitting there for over two hours, I didn’t want to wait any longer. I asked him to add glitter just so my nails would look like something. Unfortunately, the design still came out horrible. The shape and overlay look good, thanks to the three different people who worked on my nails, but the design itself was disappointing. When it was time to pay, they charged me $106. I’m upset because the quality was not worth that price. I could have just driven an hour and a half to Richmond, but I chose to try this place instead. $80 for a fill in and my cuticles are absolutely shredded. I bled in at least 3 places. I paid extra for cat eye which I got barely one coat of because they either did not have or would not open a new bottle. I’m sad because I used to love this salon.

I’ve been to this salon five times, hoping each visit would be better than the last. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been rushed and completely lackluster. I usually get a basic pedicure with clear polish for routine maintenance, and somehow even that gets messed up. On my most recent visit, I paid $48 for a “signature” pedicure and wasn’t even in the chair for 30 minutes before they were clearly trying to rush me out the door. It was absolutely not worth the money. The nail tech barely applied the skin mask, barely massaged my feet with the hot stones, and hardly scraped the bottoms of my feet — which is a basic expectation with any pedicure. Especially during the winter when dryness is worse, I rely on these appointments for proper maintenance, and this service did not deliv

Amy did both my pedicure and manicure on 8/20/24 and did an excellent job. My nails looked beautiful. The polish on my toes today 9/7/24 still looks great! The polish on my finger nails also looks great except for growth issue so it is time to fill in the gaps. Planning to ask for Amy every time I come in from now on. I tend to be rough on my hands and nails with frequent hand washing and just in general! Shout out to AMY! You are terrific!

I have visited many nail salons and this one not only surprised me but gave me that warm feeling of that special hospitality everyone looks for. First off, when I walked in the automated system with a friendly greeting was pretty awesome. I like it because you detail what you are there for and you feel that special treatment we all want when they call your name and know pretty much what you want. The cleanliness of this establishment is above the bar as well as there customer service. I came in as a walk in with no wait and was welcomed with highly professional staff. Shantee was my nail technician and I recommend her highly. If you havent visited this salon, it's a must you will not be disappointed!
