I could not recommend the ladies here more! They are so sweet, caring, TALENTED!!!! And you just can’t beat their prices. $40? They will always be my go to salon! My friend recommended this special hole in the wall salon and Ive never looked back. I was used to spending $150+ for salons in cap hill. I love the depth, dimension and texture she brought to my very straight and thin hair. PLS support these gals!!

Friendly and reliable. My wife and I have been going here for 3 years now, always perfect hair cuts. Genuine better than most of the barber shops downtown, just less of a show and for a much more reasonable price! Local gem.

I have never left a review before, but I want to warn everyone about getting haircuts. It’s essential to explain in detail what you want, or show the picture if you can, because the lady who cut my hair seemed to lack the understanding of what a proper haircut should be. If she was unsure, she should have asked me instead of just cutting it. After she cut my hair in a way I didn’t want, she said, “You should have told me before,” without offering any apology. I feel embarrassed every day because she cut my bangs so short that it makes me look foolish. I understand that mistakes can happen, but one should be able to sense when a customer isn’t happy. Is that how you talk to your customers? I can’t help but cringe when I look in the mirror, praying for my hair to grow back soon. As women,

The female barber kept cold all the time. I didn't hear a single word, not even greeting when I had my haircut. The worst part is my haircut was uneven on the side! The price is okay ($22 for simple haircut for men), but you get what you paid for. Avoid this place.

I had an amazing experience at Lake City Hair Salon! The stylist (sole operator/owner?) gave me a fantastic haircut, a trim plus layers, done quickly, skillfully, and at an unbeatable price. I’ll definitely be back!
