La Jolla Barbershop

This is the second time my boyfriend has gone to this barber and both times his hair looks AMAZING! He has thick, wavy texture hair with two calicks that are fairly strong, so it can be difficult to find a haircut that shapes well. I think the shope only has 1 maybe 2 stylists? Small little place but the quality... Wow! 10/10 recommend and my bf stated he's "finally found a barber he can go to."

I like to style my hair with a classic left part and pomade. Most barbers prioritize modern cuts, but this one did my classic haircut perfectly and for a good price. Definitely going to be my routine barber.

Mike is a wizard with scissors and clippers. Couldn’t find a place to get a good haircut in La Jolla until he opened up. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nicest guy in the world too!

Had the great, GREAT pleasure of getting my hair cut by Mike at La Jolla barbershop. This man was nothing short of professional, caring and you can tell he had a love and respect for the craft. When you first go in it’s not the biggest joint but it’s welcoming (think homey like a haircut at your auntie or uncle’s house) and Mikey offers everyone there drinks like soda, water and Red Bull. I been getting barbershop cuts since I was in college and most folks do a solid job but Mikey was different because he knows how to cut Asian hair. Asian hair is different because like myself the hair is a bit thinner and straight so when you fade you have to be careful or you see a lot more skin than what is intended.
