Maverick's Barbershop

Just got my first cut at Maverick’s and I’ll definitely be back. Samantha St. John did such a great job. She listened to what I was going for and made it happen without overcomplicating anything. The cut came out super clean and exactly how I wanted it. The shop has a really good vibe and everyone was friendly from the second I walked in. If this is how the first visit goes, I’m happy to make this my regular spot every month.

Just moved to San Diego and was looking for a solid barbershop when some friends recommended Maverick's - so glad I listened! Booked with Chelsea and she absolutely delivered. She took her time to understand what I wanted and executed the cut perfectly. The attention to detail was impressive. The whole shop has a great vibe - clean, welcoming, and professional. It's tough finding a new barber when you relocate, but I'm confident I've found my regular spot. If you need a quality cut, definitely check out Maverick's and ask for Chelsea. We were able to get a same day appointment for both my husband and my son and they both had some of the best haircuts they have ever had! Robby cut my son’s hair and was amazing at keeping a toddler engaged while also making a clean cut. He had my son full on belly laughing a few times. My husband saw Natasha and she did a modern mullet on him. He has been to two barbers before and they never understood what he was looking for. We will definitely be coming back

First off, great name for the Barbershop. Robbie cut my hair today and per usual he did a great job. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Conversations are fun and the prices are reasonable. Upon entering you’re made to feel at home with the offering of a beer or a water. There is plenty of seating in the lobby for you to relax and wait for your appointment. The shop is clean and well maintained. I look forward to going back.

I've lived in San Diego for 3 years and have struggled to find a decent barber at a price I can afford. I came across Maverick's from doing an online search. They are close to me(Hillcrest location)and affordable. They also have a membership deal, too. Even better! They also will contact you to see if you are happy with your cut and if not, they don't hesitate to schedule for a complimentary touch up, which I did have to do. Dominick did the touch up and he's such a great guy. Very friendly and fun to chat with. I highly recommend giving them a try!
