LA Fitness

Nice gym, quite a bit of equipment and weights. Basketball court, Pool, and a few other rooms for classes they have. It's very clean and well kept. It would be at 4 stars but I feel its a bit pricey for what you get, that would be my only minor complaint.

The conditions at this location (LA Fitness Broadview, IL 60155) facility are completely unacceptable . As a 12 year paying member, I expect a clean, safe, and well‑maintained environment, yet the current state of the gym recently with this new management falls far well below reasonable standards recently. The basketball court, repeat broken equipment, and long monthly delays with the spa being out of service. The basketball court floors have been extremely dirty, the rim has been broken for 3 months, and the floor has been tremendously slippery when playing on the court. These conditions raise significant safety & injury concern. Most days I am in the gym 2 times a day, and staff never clean the floor or keep maintenance up inside the basketball gym, even after repeated verbal concerns t

This La Fitness use to be very nice. Now the machines are old. Some don't work. They have been saying for a year now that they will be remodeling and putting in new machines. Still nothing. Stop buying all the local gyms and put money into existing ones. We pay a lot for this membership to not have good service. They also need to do like planet fitness and become 24hrs Monday thru Thursday. Not everyone can workout in the mornings or afternoons and it's always so crowded.

3 major issues with this location! 1. I’ve attended this Broadview location, and they have not replaced the 5- 8 missing eZ- curl bars/straight curl bars for over 10 plus yrs and with the growing attendance for the last two years have not brought in more ez- curl or straight curl bars. 2. The only have two stations with disinfecting wipes, one by the bike studio and second by the bench and free weights. Adding two more stations, one by the entry and one by the squat racks would be a welcome improvement. 3. Adding new machines and hammer weight machines in the empty space on the floor to encourage faster workouts and movements during workouts.

The gym is in a really nice location and the facility itself is great. However, the music was cranked up to an annoying level that made it hard to focus. Since I was just traveling through for a visit, I didn't bother asking the front desk to turn it down, but just a heads up for management or anyone looking for a quieter workout.
