My sister and I have been to this salon twice and had a great experience both times. Beware, some of the reviews here seem to be for a salon in Ontario. This review is for LJ Nails & Spa in Grand Island, NY. I came in to have gel polish removed, and my nail tech also evened out my nails and took care of some dry, cracked skin that has been plaguing me for weeks. She smoothed that out and gave me some softener to wash my hands with. For $15 I’m very satisfied and my hands feel great. My sister came in the same time as me and got a full set of short acrylics in Mardi Grad colors. The design pictured is almost exactly the design we gave the nail tech. Came to this salon for the first time (my salon is away for a month on vacation) and I am very unhappy with my nails. The woman rushed through my visit and did an awful job. She cut my nails way too short, left the dip powder under my nails and all over the edges of my nails. She only dipped my nails twice and left them uneven with either globs of dip or indents. I pointed that out to her and she just said the top coat would even it out, which it doesn’t. My regular salon dips my nails 3x, cleans up my edges and actually takes the time to smooth out the nails.

I went for in for a walk in for a broken nail and they glued it on at 90° angle when the rest of my nails where straight. When I tried to voice that I was upset that it didn't even kind of match the rest of the set he left and went to another client before I could get one word out so I ripped off the wet nail and left they still made me pay. I don't recommend going here they are rude to they're customers both times I've gone to this place alone they have been rude to me the only time they are nice is when I'm paying for other people nails. Id give 0 stars if I could.

Hanh gave me the best pedicure I have ever had and the girl that I normally go to at another salon is incredible but this was INSANE. She took her time, I was so relaxed that I was falling asleep. My mom had gotten a pedicure from her the day before and said the same thing! Hanh was wonderful, and I will be back!

I came after work to get a pedicure and it was nice! It is very clean. It’s a small place, but nice. I enjoyed the pedicure, but my black french tips weren’t really well done.
