Kuku's Beauty Supply

In my quest to support Black owned beauty supply store, I stumbled upon this store online. Rose was very hospitable almost felt like family. She made some nice suggestions. Highly recommend. Also they're no longer in downtown Silver Spring, 7237 Georgia Ave is the new location.

Rose is PHENOMENAL on so many levels! I was feeling down because of some frustrating stuff, but I ended up leaving feeling like I made a new friend. She was super helpful in finding what I needed, and she was even more amazing than I expected with her knowledge and kindness. The shop had a nice selection of products at great value. Oh, and guess what? They also have a salon! I’m definitely coming back and staying in touch. I highly recommend this gem! Also she has two cute fur babies that greeted me when entering 🤗

This is a really wonderful beauty supply store and Kuku (the owner) is a gift to the community! Today I went looking to fix my hair after getting a bad haircut, Kuku helped me figure out what to do and it worked! She's knowledgeable and passionate about hair and all the products she sells. I found so many other items to buy and really had fun shopping. When you go, check out all the cute earrings!

Black owned. Very good service and very convenient being on GA Ave making it easy for me to travel from Silver Spring. Only shop that opens at 9a which was very helpful. Beautiful handmade earrings and bracelets. Defintely will be back!
