KRIS African Hair Braiding

The reason why I’m giving you two stars is because I got these two rows braided Saturday and this is what it looks like already not even a week. This isn’t my first time getting my hair braided. The last time I ever had rose was a year ago and never had that issue so I know how to take care of them really disappointed Because it was me and my wife’s date night and wanted to look good for her not only did these braids get loose, but when I first went there, their door was locked. It was hard to find. Secondly, I tried drying my hair the best I could on my way there and got up charged another $10. That didn’t even take five minutes very displeased about the results on my braids. Wanted to give a new place a shot

My Box Braids are always beautiful. They look good for a full eight weeks. Kris is quite skilled and very professional. She cares about keeping my natural hair healthy and strong. She doesn't sell herself cheap; You get what you pay for!! Invest in your hair and reap the benefits of it's potential 😁 I drive 40 minutes each way to get to Kris African Hair Braiding. It's worth my time, gas, and money.

I had an excellent experience getting my dreadlocks retwisted at Kris African Hair Braiding. From start to finish, the service was professional, welcoming, and well worth it. The stylist took her time, paid close attention to detail, and made sure each loc was clean, neat, and evenly retwisted without unnecessary tension. What stood out most was the care and pride put into the work. My scalp felt great, the parts were clean, and the final result looked sharp and natural. The atmosphere was comfortable, respectful, and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. If you are looking for quality loc maintenance from someone who knows what they are doing and truly cares about your hair, I highly recommend Kris African Hair Braiding. I will definitely be returning.

Great experience. Worth whatever price she charges. Took my son from zero to hero lol jk. The pictures speak for themselves. Retwist 3 1/2 hours $120. Mine was extra bc he basically had to start new bc he wasn’t started right and washed before locked. And he has really thick hair. She explained the price increase to me and showed me why then took her time and got my son right. Very welcoming building and I saw her sister braid a man’s hair that was short and natural and the grip game is serious. Worth every Penny and trimmed his ends after.

I was happy with the work but not the experience. I can understand some French, and I truly do believe they were talking about my hair as they were doing it multiple times. It was also a painful experience, and they weren't checking in to see if I was okay and how I was doing. Again, great work, but my experience that first and will be last time, was not ideal. She also didn't inform me that this would just be cash. Luckily there was an ATM nearby. I left my wallet with her, per her request, as I got the money. So make sure to inquire about forms of payments she accepts.
