Got a gift from my best friend, turned out to be a massage experience. Was a bit skeptical at first because I have not done any spa and massage outside of Vietnam and the trip to DC was rather short, better investing in an experience you are certain of a good return. Then I was really convinced by my friend and as it turned out Kai Massage was a nice experience. Son was a great masseur and very attentive to my concerns. We had an intro session where we briefly talked about each other. For personal experiences, I always aim to build some sort of trust and connetion first hand. Son is an amazing massage therapist - the best I have ever had. He always starts a session by checking in with me - how I'm feeling, what my problem areas areas are, how I felt after the previous massage, what areas I"d like him to work on. He listens carefully and then adjusts the therapeutic massage accordingly - and he is great at it. He is very knowledgeable about the human body. I once told him about a problem and what the orthopedist's diagnosis was. He gently suggested that he was skeptical of the diagnosis - a second orthopedist agreed with Son! I highly recommend him - I've always had very positive experiences. He is highly talented.
