Jake did a great job on my three year olds haircut. He was friendly and helped him feel comfortable. The bonus was a sucker at the end. Highly recommend!!

I've been going here for over 20 years. The people here are great at what they do and make getting a haircut an enjoyable experience. I would and have recommended this barbershop to many people over the years. Give it a try if you haven't yet! Update: I live further away now but I still enjoy coming back to John's for the great company and awesome haircuts! Update 8/17/23: Still live a ways away but I keep making the trip. This place is great! I'm looking at 30 years of haircuts here! Never a bad trim!

I found this place several years ago after going to places that charged twice as much and it seemed like I never had the same stylist twice (high turnover). They are next door to the Price Chopper where I shop, so I made an appointment and went in. I got Melinda then, and she's been there every time I go back...for years. Great haircut, the stuff is very friendly and the prices are right. While I might have less hair to cut, This is where I'll get it cut...and Melinda is my go to stylist.

After 25 years I decided to grow my beard back and within a month I needed a trim. Now I’ve been back 3 times to keep from getting to look by Gabby Hayes, the old codger from the 50’s and 60’s. Jake in the last chair seems to know what I want to look like. Cheaper than the salon I used to go to.

Quick and pleasant. I almost always show up as a walk in and they are able to fit me in quickly. I’m bald and just getting my head shaved so not a particularly difficult cut. But they make me feel welcome and get the job done.
