I can't believe JC PENNEY!! Let me be clear, I don't mind paying for a service, if it's done correctly. Therefore; my complaint isn't about the money. Well, maybe sort-of, but I'm more so appalled at the salon chairs. Why are the salon chairs outdated and raggly? JC Penney' charges entirely too much money to have customers sitting in raggly, torn chairs. I was told that management stated that customers come there for a service and not to look at the salon chairs. NOT TRUE!! we look at the chairs too, especially when you have to sit in them. In the words of Gomer Pyle, SHAME. SHAME, SHAME!!!!

I am only giving one star due to the fact that I have been satisfied with the work the hair stylist has done. From the very first visit the hair stylist was unprofessional. However this last visit not only was she unprofessional but said some offensive things while cutting my child's hair. I will not be coming back.

My experience here was not satisfactory. The silk press I received was awful. I asked about a first time client discount. I was told I couldn't receive a discount. I will be speaking to the manager about whether or not I was suppose to receive a discount. I went back and purchase hair products. The stylist that did my hair checked me out. She knew my hair was not acceptable to be a Master's stylist. I just wanted her to acknowledge that my hair my was not done properly. I have learned do not continue support people or businesses who give you poor services.

I went in for a consultation to get highlights done and was told the cost would be 100 dollars for half a head of highlights and 160 for a full head… I’ve never spent that much on my hair it is very short and thin. No compromise was made to make customer happy- to simply do the full highlight so that the roots would not show or to cut the mismatched hair off at a reasonable length for a reasonable price- I have a small section of blonde underneath that has grown out to the point you have to cut it off or fill it in. Condescending stylist. Would not recommend.

I am leaving this review on behalf of my elderly client. DO NOT COME HERE! This salon is awful! The chairs and equipment all look old and broken. The seats are all split open because they are too old! The floor looked dingy. But most importantly the staff. The stylist that did my elderly clients hair was horrible. Her attitude was awful. She didn’t even speak to my client unless it was to bark an order to do something. She just looked mad. And that’s when she didn’t have her face in her cell phone. She seemed like she didn’t want us there and then had the nerve to be shocked when she got a small tip (which in my opinion she didn’t even deserve that). The best thing this place can do is close down. Nobody there looked or acted like they wanted to be there
