J & G Salon

After covid (yes, a few years ago), I stopped going for regular hair cuts, which means mine was pretty shaggy and needed some help. But it's hard finding a stylist that actually knows how to shape and doesn't charge the high-end salon prices. I tried J&G Salon, because of the great google reviews, and now I have to add my own. So I have been getting my hair cuts at J&G Salon for a couple years now and have absolutely loved every cut! I brought my mom with me today, and she was really happy with her new shape. Sunny is the sweetest person, we feel welcomed and cared for. And boy does she give excellent results. Highly recommended!

After 15 years with the same hairstylist, I needed to find someone new while mine recovers from surgery. I found Sunny’s salon on Google, and I’m so glad I did! The salon is absolutely cozy, welcoming, and super clean. Sunny is one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a long time — she really listens and cares about what you want. Sonny is s sweet lady, but unfortunately I had the worst haircut here last summer. She thinned my full curly hair so much that 8 months later, it's still not what it used to be and it's been very upsetting. First world problem, I know, but still upsetting. If you go to her, make sure to bring a reference picture as a language barrier exists. Would not recommend for curly hair. I think even she knew she messed up and didnt charge me.

My hair was chemiclly burned off!! I have gone back and forth about sharing my experience, that resulted in most of my hair being chemically burnt off. She is nice enough. I went here to get a touch-up. She washed my hair, applied the relaxer, wrapped it up, placed it under a cap and set a timer. In my experience, which is over 11yrs and all the things she did are to NEVER to be done. I trusted her and believed maybe this was a new method. It looked great until I washed my hair and large amounts of my hair came out. I reached out asking "is my hair supposed to be coming out?"and never recieved a response. I decided to go in and show her what happened. Not seeming bother by being shown the obvious damage, she stated, "I have always done it this way". No apology or anything. Don't go here fo
