Illume Hair

This was my first visit to the salon. Everyone was so welcoming insuring my comfort as I waited. My stylist, Sue, was an amazing professional, using her experience and training to make the most of my horribly thin (and thinning) hair while keeping it at a nice length for pony tails. Trust in your stylist is essential with a high forehead and thinning hair. The atmosphere and rapport she established were comforting.

Illume is an amazing salon. Everyone who works there is caring compassionate snd knowledgeable. Christine is a hair wizard!! She asks all the right questions and helps you have the best cut ever. She is amazing !!!!

Thank you Sue, for a great cut and all around great service. You met me at the door and shook my hand. Made me feel relaxed right away. This salon is beautifully decorated by the owner and has an at home vibe. They've really invested in quality and comfort and it shows right away. I will definitely be returning for another cut or service. Thank you Nancy, for what was probably the most comfortable wash I've had before. Also, Ive never been a Redkin user but the salt shampoo and conditioner they use was really great. I will be getting some of that in the near future. Thank you to all the ladies at Illume.

Stumbled into the salon for the first time after receiving a very VERY unfortunate hair cut elsewhere. Sue, a literal angel on earth, was able to squeeze me in to fix the mess. Although not before she made sure I had a coffee and snack. The whole salon has wonderful vibes. The conversations around me were all upbeat and pleasant. Everyone was so kind and complimentary. So grateful for this salon. I will only be going here for, well forever. THANK YOU SUE.

Went to Sue a few times. Finally decided to get a color done. Unfortunately, it was too light and, for some weird reason, didn't cover all the gray. Never had that happen before. Was trying to use Venmo to tip her $20 when she took my phone out of my hand and accidentally tipped herself twice. So she got $40 instead of $20. I gave her plenty of time to return my money, but I never heard from her. I had to ask her 5 days later to refund the extra $20. She returned it without a word ... no text, no call, no apology. An unfortunate experience all around.
