Hugo The Barber and Provisions

I'm not sure if this place is still open I sent them a message to their website but no one responded I called them and left a number telling them that I had tried to reach them through the website leaving my number and nobody called me so perhaps this business is no longer open or interested in reaching out to customers

I’ve been getting my hair sorted out at Hugo for a little over a year now. Only have good things to say about this place - great haircut, great experience, everyone is kind and professional. Booking an appointment is super easy to do as well. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal barbershop. The attention to detail and the service provided by Hugo is fantastic and top-notch. I had to find a new barber after my previous one of 5 years moved on elsewhere, and my hair got disgustingly long while I procrastinated, so I decided to give this shop a chance based on their stellar online reputation. The fact they have a very booked schedule also shows how popular they are due to their excellent work. Whether you work in the nearby tech/biotech business park(s) or just live within 20 minutes or so like myself, Hugo and his team of family barbers are definitely worth the price and service. I shall return!!!

I am grateful for having been a client of Hugo’s for close to 10 years. He has a friendly personality, big heart but most importantly hands of an artist. The facility is super classy, clean and has great parking. Tech savvy scheduling makes it a breeze to make a reservation. I would recommend this barber shop without any reservation.

I cannot say enough good words about Hugo. After 12+ years with my previous master barber, David O., I felt it would be difficult to find someone with the same skill and attention to detail, but I am very happy to be wrong. Not only is Hugo immensely talented, he is also a San Diego native with a thriving, family-oriented business. His shop? Beautiful. A pair of vintage Koken barber chairs. Shelves stocked with high quality Baxter of California and Jack Black grooming products that I use regularly. Plenty of comfortable seating if you come early. The cut? One of the best I’ve ever received. Not only did he shave the back of my neck, he also lathered and shaved stray hairs from around the ears, to my hairline at the temples. Overall? A wonderful experience and worth every penny. I am loo
