Hollywood Nails

Absolute worst fill I’ve ever had! The clear part looks completely botched and they didn’t even clean the underside of my nails! I didn’t wanna go all the way to Lynchburg to get my nails filled so I gave this place a shot and I will not be returning. I’ve never had a fill where you can clearly see the line where the previous acrylic was. Hollywood nails do better! I was the only one in there so it’s not like they were rushed or anything. I’ll be biting the bullet and driving to Lynchburg from now on.

ZERO stars!!!! Hollywood nails in Appomattox Va Count your days! This place is awful! Paid $50 YESTERDAY!!! I was the only one there with my grandmother inlaw so there was no need to rush he was super rough with my hands filed so hard my skin was filed off on my pinky! The shape is awful and they aren’t even flat they are bumpy and sooo thin I’m surprised they haven’t broken off! I don’t usually go here but didn’t have time to go to Lynchburg but never again! I willl make the time to go somewhere who cares about their reputation and their customers and aren’t rude! Worst nail salon I’ve ever been too, they honestly need to be reported and shut down!

So I’ve been going to Hollywood Nails for a few years now and it’s only because it’s so close to home. The man, owner, is very rough with your hands and does a terrible job with acrylics. I recommend Amy if you go there for any nail work. She speaks the most English and does great customer service. I’ve been burned when getting my eyebrows waxed and sometimes they’re a little uneven but it’s barely noticeable so while I continue to go back, I don’t recommend this place to someone who doesn’t live close by. I read the horrible reviews and almost did not go to this salon. It was open on Sunday and my nail tech is out of town. Maybe they are trying to do better. I had a very nice experience. A gentleman named Yang introduced himself to me and made small talk before starting with my fill. He was meticulous about making sure my nails were perfect, holding my hands up to the light to inspect them before filing again. I was the only person in the salon from beginning to end, so there was no rushing. Because of the reviews, I was afraid for him to do a repair and remove the old nail. He used another nail to remove it and check in often as as he went along to make sure I was ok. Based on my experience, I would return. If I receive consistent service like this, I will recommend Hollywood Nai

You know when you read some google reviews you think to yourself oh it’s something that didn’t go right and someone is upset so they left a bad review….. NO listen to the reviews. I went here a couple of weeks ago for a fill in, the gentleman was rude and very rough. He burned my nail beds quite a few times and when I pulled back he pulled my hand back. He pushed my cuticles back with his dirty nails. Doesn’t he realize that cuticles are the easiest place for an infection. The price I was quoted was $44 and that was with designs it was $10 extra for design. I understand that, but I changed it up and didn’t want a design out of fear they wouldn’t be done right so I went with a solid color.
