Hip Hop Nails

They did an ok job. I felt a little cheated that the person getting a pedicure next to me was getting the works while I barely got any love. She was still getting scrubbed on meanwhile they finished my pedicure and dip manicure. They also did not soak of my old dip nails, but they just shoved a file under them to rip them off. Otherwise, my nails came out ok.

I went here to get acrylics taken off and put back on. My salon where I like has colored acrylic powder. They looked at me like an alien when I asked for this. Getting my nails taken off was miserable. I am sure she was just laughing because she was uncomfortable, but when I winced she laughed. I opted just to get gel polish. They had great colors and the girl took her time but, to be honest, it just didn't look good. Also, people were eating fried chicken which (although not the salon's fault) made it an unappealing manicure. I am giving two stars because it was cheap and the girl who did my nails was sweet. I won't be going back.

Good place to go. Prices are average. Edit: Went again on Saturday 20th July - awful! My manicure was rushed and I couldn't make the girl understand exactly what I wanted. I had to have acrylic on one nail as it had broken the day before. It has rough edges on the sides that I had to file down myself without trying to ruin the varnish. She got the gel nail varnish on the sides of my fingers. Then to top it all their machine declined my card. Has taken me 2 days to sort my card out and the bank have just told me it is because Hip Hop Nails messed up on the machine their end my card was immediately blocked.

Took my niece for acrylics to celebrate her birthday and the tech did a horrible job. It looked like she painted her nails at home. I had to bring her back the next day and wait 15 minutes for another tech to correct the job. The result was much better and my neice was very happy. Don't bring a little girl here to get nails. Not as much care is taken on their little hands.

I usually come here to get Eyelashes done and I guess it's pretty hard to screw those up. Today I decided to try a pedicure. It was horrible. There was a lady there who had arrived before getting her pedicure done. The lady who did mine just rushed the whole thing. I was done long before someone who was there before me. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place for a relaxed pedicure. It was worth $25 and an absolute rip off. Very disappointed
