I’m new to the area and have been going to Stella for bang trims and general cuts. I like to do a little bit of color every other summer and wanted to try something new. I went to Stella, requesting a dark auburn for the first time. I really just didn’t like the color on me and was unhappy with it, but I still had to wait almost two full weeks to get in and have it fixed. When we discussed it on the phone, she mentioned stripping the color, but when I went in for the actual appointment. I requested blonde highlights, which was what I typically go with. I showed her a reference picture from a couple years ago, and I ended up with blonde patchy and very chunky highlights that are yellow and roots that are still copper. Started seeing Kirsten for my haircuts a couple of months ago. She had great ideas that I was just not ready for my first time around. I finally told her she could do what she thought best.....and I love it. I get compliments everywhere I go. I have been back several times and I'm always so happy when I leave. Kirsten really takes her time to listen to what you want. Next up, color. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
