Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I’ve been going to Hand & Stone in Hudson for a while now and honestly like it way better than Massage Envy. The atmosphere feels more relaxing, and the quality of the massages has been more consistent in my experience. Recently I found Lucy and absolutely love her work and technique — she’s incredibly skilled, attentive, and really knows how to target problem areas while still making the session relaxing. When I’m just looking for a straightforward deep tissue massage, Alex always does the job. He’s consistent and effective, and I can count on leaving feeling much better than when I walked in. I asked for more pressure during my massage, and they charged me extra without telling me. Despite filling out and signing a form requesting to avoid a certain area, they ignored it and did it anyway. They apparentley have "points" to use toward services, but didn't know about it until I told them I was cancelling my membership. When you cancel, you have to pay for an additional service. You sign paperwork that says this supposedly ( haven't checked) when you join, but they don't point it out until you cancel, so beware. Massages were okay to good.

I have had plenty of good experiences with different massage therapists at this location. However, my last massage experience left a lot to be desired. I had ordered a gliding cupping upgrade, which my therapist forgot about. More than halfway through she remembered and told me that since she did a deep tissue massage (which I didn’t request), we didn’t need to do the cupping. I asked her if we still had time to do it and she said yes. She proceeds to do the “gliding” massage, but she got frustrated and the massage barely lasted 5 minutes. There was not gliding actually done and the cups didn’t have enough air pressure to actually do anything to the muscles. After that, the massage therapist was unnecessarily rough for the rest of the massage and everything felt rushed. I left feeling mor

5 min late with their massage and then the Masseuse acted as if she barely could go deeper eating to my skin when I asked her to go if she’d be a bit firmer nicely and it was almost as if it was she was barely touching me. Then she rushed the massage the massage ended six minutes early after them being five minutes late. If I wanted to rub myself down in oil as to moisturize my skin I would have done so myself at home. Sadly I’ve heard amazing things but this is the one place I would Not come back to and don’t suggest the Hudson location

Henley at Hand and Stone is the sole reason I became a member. Not only is her service a 10/10 but she has a great personality if you like to talk. While at the same time not being awkward if you want a quiet session. Every time I go I leave feeling like a brand new person AND she provides amazing after care advice that makes the effects of the massage last longer and feel better. Highly highly recommend!
