Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys - Dupont Circle

Was able to get an appointment in time for the holiday season before seeing family, and it was worth it! I have been so busy and haven’t had the chance to get a haircut in over a month so I was astonished by the work that Pat did! She was able to clean my hair up and set me up right. Clean lines, hot towel, and even a shampoo which was so relaxing. Worth visiting and I’m excited to get a manicure with it being the cold and dry season!

Had my first visit to Hammer & Nails today, and it was such a great experience! Even though I was about 15 minutes late, the staff was super accommodating and made me feel welcome right away. They walked me through every step of the haircut process, making sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect. When the shampoo water was a little cold at first, they quickly offered to adjust it, which I really appreciated. After the haircut, they gave me a private tour of the space, which was a really nice touch, and even suggested a new hair styling product. I got to try it out in-store, and I’m excited to start using it regularly. The level of care and attention to detail was amazing—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Hammer & Nails in DuPont is easily my go-to spot. I’ve been here multiple times for both haircuts and pedicures, and the experience has been consistently great every time. Patricia at the front desk is always very kind and welcoming, which makes a big difference right when you walk in. The pedicures here are honestly the best I’ve ever had — they’re thorough, relaxing, and the technicians always do a great job of curating luxurious experience. The space itself is super luxurious with a very masculine vibe. They offer a ton of cool features like personal TVs dedicated to each patron, along with Bose noise cancelling headphones so you can watch the game or whatever you like on TV.

Pat was great and highly recommend! She fixed a bad previous haircut from another place despite me being cursed with some terribly located callacs! Pretty cool place and very nice staff. Front desk staff and a manager were also very friendly. The business model for the company clearly wants people signing up for memberships and I don't take issue with that. It's a great location and cut for me so I signed up!
