Hair & Nail Cottage

The environment is always so warm and inviting, and my hair always looks fabulous. Katharine is the hairstylist that blesses my hair so that I feel like a princess when I leave.

I am relatively new to this salon (6 months/visits). I'd been looking for a place closer to home but was reluctant to take the leap because it's so hard to find the right fit with a stylist. However, I am so glad I took a chance on Hair & Nail Cottage and thrilled to have found Stephanie in particular. She listened to what I wanted (and as importantly, what I didn't want) and knew exactly how to cut and color my hair to get the result I was looking for. Her talent, coupled with her many years of experience, resulted in the best haircut I've ever had!! (and that scalp massage could put me to sleep - so relaxing :)) The vibe in the salon is laid back and welcoming and makes for a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I absolutely love the hair and nail cottage!! The salon is charming, cozy, and clean and everyone on staff I have met/ talked to is always so nice and welcoming I started coming here about a year ago and my hair has never looked this healthy and been so long- thanks to katharine! she really puts in the time and effort to make sure you leave with the best hair possible

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. I came in with clear instructions and reference photos, but the end result was completely different from what I asked for. The color was off by a wide margin, and my hair was cut significantly shorter than I had requested—even after I specifically communicated the length I wanted. It was clear my input wasn’t truly listened to or taken seriously. This isn’t just about a bad hair day; it’s about a lack of professionalism and attention to detail. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others based on my experience.
