I have been getting my hair cut @ Hair Mechanix for years. The posted sign advertises a reduced rate on Mondays. Today the sign shows $15. I always get the same cut but when I checked out today, I was told the charge was $20. I questioned the increase and was told "I don't know what he did for the extra $$$. I never asked for anything different today. Be careful they don't cheat you as well.

Only $10 for a haircut on Monday...that's good. Only downfall is if your kid wants any kind of a design even a basic one that they use a stencil for such as 1 star..add $20 to that!! If it were a more detailed design I could see paying that much but when it took us waiting on 3 different people before someone was willing to attempt it (most saying I can't do that) even tho their FB page as well as signs on the wall above the waiting area advertise that they can. And $20 for a basic design that cost twice as much as the actual haircut?! Only to have the design grow out and have it only be a basic mediocre haircut in only a week and a half...yeah, I think I will pass on this place next time 😂😂😂

Been coming here for years and the haircuts are normally decent, sometimes some terrible, sometimes some terrific. Unfortunately I won't be returning, they have gotten far too bold with pricing...30$ plus tip does not reflect the experience here it is very evident they want to get you in and out. To me 30$ haircut represents a razor and time taken to get things perfect, it's just not a good deal, avoid the 15$ Monday deal as it's NEVER a good cut

If you get Will make sure to ask how much it will be beforehand. I asked for a standard haircut and after was charged $35 (on a $15 walk-in monday) AND it took over an hour.

Just had my hair cut there, first visit. Not going back. Chandra, the barber I had, was rude, didn’t even say hello or chat. Rushed through my cut, no styling, not a very good job. My buddy went at same time and had a way better experience with the other barber there. I’ve had much better cuts for less money.
