I love this place if you need any type of braids hair forest is the place...she was polite and she braida fast i was out of there in no time.My first time getting knottless braids and I am in love..She was gentle while braiding my hair which is wonderful because I am soooo tender headed.Do Not Walk RUNNN!!!!

This post isn’t to shame anyone. Unfortunately there’s a lack of knowledge when it comes to doing black hair. There’s this myth that it’s difficult by nature and that pain is expected but that’s just not the case. I’ve been to this salon twice to get my braids done and I really loved the results. The people working here are talented braiders and stylists but what happened to me on my last visit had truly left me distraught. I’ve been growing out my hair and I’ve been putting so much effort into making sure it’s healthy. There’s a process. You never detangle/brush natural hair when it’s dry. Unless it’s completely blow dried strait. Ever. It causes unnecessary breakage and damage to the hair. I always make sure my hair is completely saturated with water, I go in with conditioner and then ta
