Hair By Lucy

I came in for a blowout and a light trim and was really disappointed. The blowout wasn’t done properly at all — my roots weren’t even smoothed, so my hair came out puffy, uneven, and unfinished. No products were used, my hair feels crunchy, and it doesn’t even smell good. The salon also felt very disorganized with appointments, and multiple customers left upset. Overall it didn’t feel professional, and I’m very unhappy that I spent money just to leave with my hair looking worse than before. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I had been going to the same stylist for over 10 years and she left the area so I had to find someone new. I live in Leonia and my friend goes to Hair by Lucy so I thought I would give the salon a try. I was very happy with my haircut/restyle from Lucy - she did exactly what I asked for and I would definitely go back there again.

Walked in for a cut. The owner, in Korean so I could hear, stated how she wanted me to “get up bc she needs space.” How incredibly RUDE. The young woman with glasses who cut my hair kept POKING me in the eye and kept saying “sorry” over and over. Incompetent, rude and unqualified to deal with customers. Never coming back here again.

Professional and punctual. Lucy always tries to fit you in last minute. I’m very picky about my hair and she never disappoints!

The best blow dry at an affordable price! They do such a great job and it lasts almost the whole week! The owner Lucy is such a sweet and kind lady! The salon is calm and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hair by Lucy if you’re going to a wedding, event or just a want your hair blown out nicely for the week! They know how to make you look and feel your best!
