I used to cut my own beard because barbers couldn’t follow simple instructions. Shape, size, clean curves? Always a miss. Then I sat in Maurice’s chair at Groom Therapy in Jacksonville, and he got it instantly. No back and forth, no confusion, just precision and vibe. He got great energy, real convo, and skills that speak for themselves. I’m officially back in the shop, and as long as Maurice is cutting, I’m locked in. Highly recommend if you want your beard done right. Hair cut as well.

I’ve been going to Maurice since 2007. I’ve never had an issue or complaint. He and is staff has become like family to me. Never a bad experience and is very prompt with keeping up with his appointments. There have been times where I’ve forgot to book, but he always finds a way to squeeze me in. Shop is always clean and kept nicely.

G the barber is very professional, friendly, and his passion shows in his work. This location is cute love the black building. G has his own room/space to work, nice music & conversation!
