Green Nails Salon (Gel & Design Specialist)

I only get my nails done here and have always had a great experience. I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews. The salon is very clean and professional, and they always sanitize and wipe down their tools and workspace before each client. I’ve never had any concerns about cleanliness or safety. The technicians are incredibly detail-oriented, talented, and take their time to make sure everything looks perfect. Booking is also super easy. You just text to schedule, and you can send inspiration photos ahead of time to confirm they can recreate the design you want. When you do, you can also ask for a quote (which will depend a bit on the design, gems, or details you choose during the appointment) and an estimate of how long the appointment will take, which I really appreciate. I had an appointment at 1 PM today. After confirming a very simple design, I was quoted a price about $30 higher than what was listed. I still agreed to proceed. During the prep, the first technician over-filed my nail, and when I politely pointed it out, another technician took over. However, after I raised reasonable concerns about the service, the second technician suddenly refused to continue. She raised her voice at me for several minutes and insisted she would not complete the service, even though I repeatedly stated I was willing to continue and only wanted basic quality control. The attitude and professionalism were extremely disappointing. I hope future customers are aware that raising normal, polite feedback may result in being refused service.

5 weeks in and no chip! I have been getting my gel nails done from them for the past one year and they do a fanstastic job. The paint holds up so well and my nails don’t break. These are my natural nails btw. I am shocked by the low rating because these girls have been nothing but great.

I really never leave bad reviews but this was such a terrible gel removal experience I was mortified. The photos are of my nails immediately after walking out the salon. The tech didn't follow standard gel removal procedure and only used a drill. I had to ask her several times to remove more of the gel because she'd stop and tell me she was done with thick layers of gel still clearly on my nails. My nails are pretty messed up now with dents / scratches and gel layers still on. I'll have to do my best to remove the rest at home and recut my nails. :(

I asked for a pretty complicated design and I think Destiny did a great job! Although I agree their customer service & scheduling practices could be improved (not really the fault of technicians), the quality of service is unparalleled in the area, especially for more unusual styles
