Great Clips

We brought our young child in for a simple haircut and left with an uneven, patchy buzz cut that clearly wasn’t blended or checked before we were sent out. The top is visibly inconsistent, and the sides weren’t properly faded. What’s most frustrating is that this wasn’t a complicated request, i asked for a number 2 short back and sides. We won’t be returning, and I’d strongly recommend parents go elsewhere if you’re expecting attention a remotely decent haircut.

Sorry to say, I had such a terrible experience at this location (Brookside Plaza, Northbrook, IL) today (May 19) during my haircut appointment. Stylist Zhanna was unempathetic and downright uncaring and rude. I have curly, wavy hair and I requested only a simple trim with long layers. She pulled my hair very hard throughout the haircut (~15 mins) and it was extremely, extremely painful. My eyes were tearing up due to the pain during the haircut. I kept requesting her to comb my hair a bit slowly but she kept on saying in a rude manner that “I’m doing my best/your hair is so tangled/you have so much hair, what can I do/I need to get this done somehow” etc while yanking my hair with the comb so hard. The Butcher of Northbrook! Stay Away! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. This new staff does not speak English very well. And Rushes you through a twenty two dollar haircut! The other lady was very nice. She's friendly and speaks english well. The person I got was not very friendly at all. I told the stylist to do a one on the side and then i want to see how much to take off the top. She mauls me with her clippers like someone rushing through her work. The power cord from her clipper machine hit my face multiple times. She never bothered to clear the hair on my face with a brush. She finishes. I tell her to take just 1 inch of the top. Poor service. Not for the first time. Cannot allow someone who is hours late to just go next when he’s been removed and others waiting. One stylist on duty. Then gives rushed poor haircut
