I just had the worst experience of my life in a hair cutting place with my 12-year-old son..! @ Great Clips @ Lower Westfield Rd in Holyoke. When I walked in a younger girl was cutting a little boy's hair. Maybe around 4 years old. He was having the worst time. I was grateful when another 'haor cutter 'walked out and said that she would take my son because we had registered online already. When the lady started she was very distracted. She seemed to be kind of wobbly on her feet but I know she has leg issues so I was attributing it to that (Crossing my fingers). I came in asking for help after cutting my own hair. Marco hacked it worse. Even another location saw and commented on the lack of technique used. Unfortunately because of the POS system he got a $10 tip (my mistake) Pretty sure he is a barber. Lesson learned.

I regret to have to leave a negative review of any kind, but this experience I had here has been really bothering me and I would hate for anyone else to share the same. I went in for a trim after having spent the last two years growing my hair out to a length that I felt happy with and comfortable and beautiful in. The first thing I specified was that I wanted to keep my length, but just wanted to trim off the dead ends. I requested that absolutely no more than 3in max were cut off, and continuously emphasized that I was very happy with the current length. Additionally, I asked for the front pieces to be angled and framed a bit. My stylist partially wet my hair (most of it was still dry), then immediately chopped a rather long piece off.
