Great Clips

ZERO STARS, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! I’ve been a Great Clips customer for years, but that all changed yesterday. After growing my hair out, I needed a trim. I went in and explained in detail how I wanted my hair cut. I wanted long layers, and to keep the length of my hair. And I didn’t want the layers above my chest. It was down to my lower back, and I just wanted to have it freshened up. The stylist began sectioning my hair and showed me what she was going to cut off. She showed me about an inch and a half of hair. I said you can take a little more, 2 inches is fine. She began cutting my hair and I couldn’t fully see what she was cutting off. Went in as a first time guest and was seen pretty quickly. The one stylist who seemed ill tempered was the one that cut my son’s hair. I showed her the photo of the older boy below and said leave it long, give it some texture and trim up the sides and back. She asked if I wanted scissor cut or clippers and TBH I don’t know what would have been the best for the cut I requested- I’m not a stylist. Anyway- she proceeded to cut too much off and I told her to stop with the length. This is when she looked at me and said she was “blending” in a very sharp tone. That’s when I knew we were ready to be out of here. She cut my son’s side burn off completely on one side and left the other side. When I pointed it out she asked me what I wanted her to do? The woman who claims to be doing hair for 40 years, absolutely butchered my grandmother’s hair. She cut her 1 inch bangs that were supposed to go to her eyebrows. She cut many extra inches off in total length of long hair. Her cut is ridiculous and this hairdresser needs to put her scissors down permanently. Look at all the other complaints below. I would chose zero stars.

Went in for a haircut on saturday. After a few minutes of signing in, an old lady came to me and told me it was my turn. Thought it was going to be ominous but convinced myself to not be an ageist. And, just like what I had expected, the old lady who cut my hair messed up pretty bad. Didnt want to make a scene and embarass her, but I left the place feeling pretty unsatisfied. Will unlikely to return in the future.
