Customer Reviews
Linda, the owner, is the best. Not only does she give a a great haircut. She is friendly, cheerful, and has a great sense of humor. My first haircut from her was in 1995 or so, when she worked in a shop on 9th Ave. It was perfect. and every haircut she gave me since, has been the same, just great. She has worked in shops on Irving, on Lombard, and now on West Portal, where she worked, and then bought the shop. I'll never get my hair cut anywhere else, period.
Linda does a good job and I'm always pretty happy with the results. She's always friendly and I can usually walk in and get a men's cut within a few minutes unless it's an unusually busy time. Some of the other stylists are more hit and miss when they are there (some good, some not), so you may want to wait for Linda specifically if you're unsure. If you want a cut, put your name on the list by the register and people are taken in the order they arrive and when the stylist (or any stylist if you didn't specify what stylist) has the next opening.
Overall solid. Staff is kind and place is nice and clean but certainly a no frills place and one that does not compare to a true banner of you are looking for a men's haircut. Still a place we go to on a regular basis because it is convenient and the job gets done nicely.
This is the far worst haircut i have ever gotten in my entire life. I was observing my hair dresser the whole time she was cutting my hair. She didn’t even wanted to touch my hair. I mean why are you even in the business if you dont like cutting hair. The dresser didn’t even greet when i walked in. In fact i was the one said hello and had to tell them that i was there for a hair cut. What a horrible experience. She was already messing up my hair and i asked how long she has experience cutting hair, she said long time. I mean if you have that kind of experience dont you think you should at least try to give a better hair cut. Never ever going back to this place again. There are far way better places than this.
No greeting upon entering. Been going there for many years as it didn't require reservation, I just started going to Great Clips in Diamond Hts. And I LOVE it Can check in online and be greeted warmly upon arrival. Price is the same.
