UPDATE: It’s been exactly a week since I got my manicure and every single nail has come off. $110!!! The owner responded but I was not able to come in because I’m on vacation. I got engaged on this trip but all the photos are ruined because half my nails were gone at the time of the proposal. So incredibly disappointed. I got my Gel-X artificial nail manicure done by Anna on a Tuesday for $110 ($95 base + $15 for shaping and design) and initially was very pleased with the results. The price was a little up there for me, but it’s Georgetown so expensive can be expected. The color is beautiful and the cat-eye effect is great. However, by Friday, the gel is already peeling away from the artificial nail. I went from being very pleased to extremely upset. For $110 this manicure should last me

I’ve been getting manicures and pedicures for years. Finding a place you’ll travel miles to is rare! GBBNis by far my favorite place to receive manicures and pedicures (waxing as well). The service and professionalism is stellar. You must make an appointment if you’re wondering if you should. 😊I’m always happy when leaving here.

Genuinely the worst nails I ever had. All I asked for was an acrylic overlay. It took them two and a half hours just for them to be THICK, lumpy, and uneven lengths. The lady had no idea how to do it and it was so bad another worker had to show her by doing half of the work, making another client wait. I kept giving instructions and literally showing her tutorial videos and telling her what NOT to do. Not to mention, the lady was argumentative about MY nails. This was the day before Valentines. They still came out so ugly that I literally took them off at home the next morning and put on press-ons so I can look presentable for Valentines. I use a nail drill and acetone to remove my nails. I had an amazing experience here! Truly one of the best salons in the DMV area. I also got my eyebrows microbladed, and the process was quick, easy, and completely painless. A huge thank you to Don, the manager—she’s so friendly, kind, and welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a comfortable atmosphere! :)

I've come here a few times now and have very different experiences; I wish I could rate the technicians independently. The first two times I came, Solongo helped me and did beautiful builder gel manicures! I was so excited to return when I wanted to try GelX for a special occasion, but a different technician serviced me and I was extremely disappointed. She readjusted a nail tip after setting it once, and I mentioned to her twice after the fact that the extension didn't appear to be adhered at the cuticle; she assured me it was alright both times (multiple nails are actually already lifting at the cuticle as I left, see pics). Towards the end of the manicure, I mentioned to her that I had a lot of gel under my nails on my skin (see pics) but she didn't do anything about it; at that point
