I had a great experience here and would highly recommend this barber shop, especially if you are looking for a well-executed long haircut. From the moment I arrived, the staff were professional and attentive, even though I did not have a reservation. When discussing the haircut with Alice, it was immediately clear from the conversation that she really knows what she is doing and has strong technical expertise. I asked for a longer haircut where the goal was to adjust the sides and the back so that they blended naturally with the longer hair in the front. Alice executed it perfectly. The transition between the sides, the back, and the longer central part is very smooth and well balanced. The result looks natural, clean, and exactly as I had in mind. TL;DR - GENTS is worth the money for a great style from professionals. Alice was great! I recently visited GENTS for the first time. I needed a haircut, and I wanted to try an elevated experience. GENTS did not disappoint. Booking online was easy, and services and prices were clear. Upon arrival, a staff member took my coat and offered me a beverage while I waited. Alice was my stylist. She made me feel comfortable from the start. We discussed options for my style. The shampoo followed by hot face towel and mist were excellent. Alice checked with me at several times to make sure we were in agreement. I spoke briefly with one of the owners on my way out, and she indicated other devices that I might consider in the future. I don’t like to give negative reviews, especially to smaller establishments, but need to provide critical feedback given that Google reviews are the reason I selected this place. On the good side, Renata provided a good fade on the sides, overall good customer service, and the attention to the detail with the hot towels and back of neck was good. That’s the extent of the good though. I showed photos / gave pretty detailed instruction of what I like on top, which is a scissor cut with enough length to style. This request was essentially ignored / disregarded, as the cut on top left me with the shortest cut I’ve received in a long time making it virtually impossible to style.
