Simon is the BEST! I was visiting from NYC and have chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain and consistently get massages, chiropractic + physical therapy care, and acupuncture. This was the most healing massage I've gotten and Simon is a genuinely kind soul. Simon targeted the areas I pointed out expertly with the pressure I asked for. He has great intuition and I could tell he has a deep grasp of anatomy because he pinpointed all my aching areas with ease. He's very considerate in that he gave comfortable headphones with soothing music, that heightened the relaxation. Part of the massage was intense but in a great way - he stretches you and goes into the deep tissue. I felt like a new person after the massage - it's been a long while since I've felt such physical relief. I highly recommen
I was recommended to the Frenchy Spa by a cycling friend, and I’m seriously glad I followed the advice. Simon has extensive experience and especially with athletes, and it shows he’s incredibly knowledgeable, precise, and deeply committed to his craft. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. I’m planning to make this a monthly routine because the results have been that good. Highly recommend, whether you’re an athlete or just want a proper, effective deep tissue massage.
I came to see Simon after I had read an NIH study saying that lymphatic drainage massage was effective for treating fatigue from long Covid. I was exhausted my first appointment. But after only 3 appointments (the study said the median number of appointments needed to feel a difference was 10), I felt a significant, noticeable difference. Things have only improved as I have continued sessions with him. Not only is he a gifted healer, he is a genuinely nice person. There were times I came in an emotional disaster (long Covid messes with your mind) and he was always very positive and reassuring. I would highly recommend booking an appointment with him for either a relaxing massage or one that helps improve health outcomes. Thank you, Simon!
Wow. Just wow. I have had massages all over the world, but I have never had a massage like this before. This is the massage I will compare all other massages to for the rest of my life. I have a lot of stress in my life which leads to very tight muscles and terrible TMJ. Most massage therapists really struggle to get my knots out or give me any relief with the TMJ. Simon didn’t struggle at all. He was using stretching, active release and maybe reflexology techniques along with normal deep tissue massage to really get rid of that muscle tension and those knots. You could tell that his knowledge of how the body is connected greatly surpasses the normal massage therapist and he uses that knowledge to his client’s benefit. Not only was it an effective and relaxing massage, I got the im
Tucked in the 2nd floor corner of building full of salons is this one-room massage haven. I had been plagued with a nagging lower back pain for two weeks - a strain from over-exertion. Simon focused intensely on the area, employing every tool in his kit to work the pain area...hot and cold therapy, stretches, very deep tissue, myofascial release, and a host of others. It was very effective. His background in sports medicine was precisely needed to treat my pain. I highly recommend his service. In my experience, you can tell other therapists where to focus when going in for a massage. Sure they will work on the area for an extra 5-10 minutes, but then proceed with generic whole body routines. Simon had tailored our entire 90 minutes to work on my back. It was a great experience and c
