2026 update: Reminder to my Asian friends, it is bad luck to get your haircut after the Lunar New Year. Do it before. There was a short wait today at 1pm as Tuesday 2/17/2026 is New Year's day. One of my pet peeves is sitting in the barber chair for too long. The rookie at Abe's next door takes too long. The older new guy is faster. Sharon here at Flora's is fast. Within 10-15 minutes I'm done. $20 well spent. Side note, I asked Sharon why the store is named Flora's. She said it was the previous Filipino owner's name. It was a good store name and no changes were necessary. I agree. Original review: Ever since Miguel the barber passed away May of 2025 at Abe Barber shop, they are often closed during business hours. Luckily Flora's Hair Salon is open next door. The price is the same, $20
