I’ve been getting my hair done at First Impressions Hair Studio in Ellsworth, and I feel so lucky to have found Nancy. I moved to the area last year and went to a couple other salons looking for someone that was good at their job. From the very first visit, Nancy has been incredibly kind, welcoming, and easy to talk to. She creates such a relaxed and positive environment, and it truly feels like she wants every client to have a great experience from start to finish. I sent a dear friend to this place because I have not only heard good things and taken my son there and took us right in. So I told her they take walk-ins and are open Sundays. She went and was treated very poorly and the stylist said I don't take walk-ins even though there are four signs on Windows that said we take walk-ins. And then grabbed a sign saying I'm not taking walk-ins today and slapped it on the window and said I'm not taking walk-ins today to her face. I'm so discouraged to have sent someone somewhere to be treated so poorly and after she has gone through so much lately and was visiting from away, and absolutely loves it so much she brought her daughters ashes here to be laid to rest.
