Fenton Barber Shop

Not sure where all these 5 star reviews are coming from. I asked for a basic medium fade with nothing off the top, pretty simple. I had to immediately go to another barber to get it fixed. Very nice guy and a good atmosphere but his haircuts need some serious work.

I got a haircut once by the older man barber and he didn’t listen to what I asked for at all, but I decided to let it go and look for other barbers nearby…. But THEN my girl-friend went for a haircut one day (it’s a woman but she has a short, boy-type haircut she simply needed cleaned up) and the barber told her he doesn’t cut women’s hair and gave her attitude when she responded kindly that her hair was styled and cut like a men’s haircut… EXTREMELY EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. He also works super weird hours and is impossible to get ahold of, AND only takes cash in 2025… suspicious much?? Terrible experience.

Basic old-school barbershop, nothing fancy. Think hair *cuts* not hair *styles*. Barber is experienced and highly skilled, with a steady hand, no jerky motions or gouging.

Based on previous reviews thought I’d give this place a try. I’ve driven by it a million times. Stopped in and Tim was ready to give me a cut. Super friendly and professional. Price was great. Feedback from friends was positive. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Not sure about the reviews on here but I got a haircut from this place and by far was not a good one. Received a high and tight. The fade was so high it was on the crown of my head.
