Express African Hair Braiding

I had an amazing experience at Express African Hair Braiding! From the initial phone consultation to the moment I left, everything was smooth, professional, and welcoming. The staff was friendly, the salon was clean and spacious, and there’s plenty of parking. My stylist was gentle, fast, and incredibly talented. My crochet braids are beautiful, lightweight, and perfectly installed, not tight, not heavy, just flawless! I’m so happy with my results and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

Had an appointment for 4:30 pm . Didn’t start receiving services till 8 pm. Yes the store was busy but my services were delayed because of a an employee who didn’t want to work. Employee told me they didn’t feel like blending my hair because it was too late within the day. The first few braiders work was not neat nor correct size. The owner called herself getting upset and yelling at me in front of all customers that I was wrong for expressing how I felt. Owner also tried to reprice me after seeing the damage to my hair. I wanted waist length small Boho Knotless. I was told 260 before arrival and then quoted 325 after arrival. After all the back and forth I was finally able to get my hair done. Great experience for me!! The ladies were booked and busy!! Prices was great for what I got!! I read other people’s reviews & was kinda of skeptical at 1st but I went on in at 7:45am straight to a chair! Young lady did an awesome job!! Atmosphere was awesome to me, all the braiders spoke and was very friendly! Will go back!!

I should have read these reviews before I went. . . Went to get my braids taken down. After I washed and blow dried my hair, I saw that the lady cut my hair in MULTIPLE spots. Also they changed the price on me 3 times while I was sitting in the chair and they complained almost the whole time I was getting serviced. Yes I understand small extra boho knotless can be time consuming or tiresome but If you accepted to take down my braids you shouldn't complain thats unprofessional.
