Express African Hair Braiding

The ladies were so very rude...As you can see the hair is not tucked and the parts are ugly. The owner wasn't in but they called her and she was very rude and said she needed to see the end results and that when I come back next time she will be the one to do it. I told her I want be back. Let's remind you the lady did nothing to try to fix the problem and said she wasn't going to take them down. It was only like 15 braids up and wasn't even braided all the way down in the picture. The owner was so rude she was even hollering and screaming through the phone. Very unprofessional and very rude. This was my 2nd and last visit. Please avoid going to this braiding salon. They act like they don't understand English but they know how to understand when you say something about money. I paid $240

I call the owner to ask her if I could come get my hair done, she instantly said yes.When I arrived she told me that she will be her to braid my hair. One lady walked up and told me to come on she will start braiding my hair . I told her how I wanted it, but after she started braiding for a while, it was nothing like I wanted. She called the owner and the owner told me here I come I braid it for you, it will be 240. another lady walked through the door. she started braiding. I asked her where was the older lady that use to run this shop, she politely said she not here anymore. I politely told her that's okay cause she wasn't braiding my hair right. she calls someone before I leave. it was the lady from the 1st lady phone.. she said here I come. I told her I thought she was the 2nd lady so

This was the worse experience that I ever had in a braid shop. The lady literally set my hair on fire and all she could say was I’m sorry. She burnt wholes in my sweater and refuse to compensate me for her mishap. You can smell the burning hair on my head. All of the other clients were scared to death that my hair would burn. They quickly put it out. Do not go here. You are taking a major risk.

Avoid at all costs!!!!! These are the braids that they charged $80 for. The parts are crooked, the braids wobbly as you can see. Couldn't get the first 2 things asked so for the comprise was just do what you can do. When "done" they couldn't take any electric payment so had to hunt down an atm. Then get back for them to say it was $80. Told them these aren't $80 braids. Long story short.... my son ended up in the back of a police car to go to atm (again) to pay $80 for trash braids. Never again.

The ladies were kind and professional. I had a minimal amount of wait time. I called at 8:00AM to see if they would take me around 10:00AM. They allowed me to come and I am extremely satisfied with my braids. I will be back. They did an excellent job!!
