Customer Reviews
I just wanted some highlights around my face but this guy did it so awfully. All of these highlights were sloppy and were all fully orange . I had to go to another salon to get it fixed cause it was so bad. The two highlights around my face were fine but when I got home I put my hair up in a bun, saw it in a mirror and was in utter shock. I never asked to anything underneath, and I saw full orange on my head . I still have some orange in my hair after getting it fixed. The girl who fixed my hair said I looked like a skunk cause of the way my hair was.
So happy with my hair cut from Candy King! I booked her for a women's long haircut. She took time to ask me what exactly I wanted, looked at my reference photos and gave her own suggestions as to what would work for me in terms of texture and length. When taking off length, she confirmed verbally and then made the smallest cut to show me exactly how much she was taking off. Multiple times when cutting length and layering, she would check that both sides of the hair were even. Half an hour in to the appointment, she stepped away to block off more time in the scheduling app so that she wouldn't have to rush my cut which I really appreciated. We agreed that my hair needed a lot of thinning and Candy spent a lot of time thinning it out strategically, going back over the sections that needed mo
Candy is amazing. I show her a bunch of pictures, which is a supremely annoying thing for a customer to do, because each reference image usually has a slightly different haircut - but she figures out the vibe I’m going for and she gives me exactly the cut I wanted. Great for a minor life change or a quarter-life crisis or something. Highly recommend. Edited to add: I’ve gotten maybe 4-5 haircuts from Candy now. I think the best thing about her haircuts is that they grow out well. It’s like she defensively drives for it. It’s easy(/ier) to make a haircut look good when it’s styled and you’re coming out of the salon; much harder to have it still look decent 3 months later when it’s overgrown.
I've been going to Ruben for about 1.5 years. He's awesome. I had been growing out my hair the entire time and my style kept changing as my hair grew. Ruben is always able to suggest good styles and help me understand how my hair grows and what to expect.
Candy has been cutting my hair for the past 6 months -- I've been happy with the stylish haircuts that she's given me. She is efficient, friendly, and skilled. The online booking system also makes the reservation process very easy.
