I’m not someone who typically writes negative reviews, but this experience warrants one. This was, without question, the worst manicure I’ve ever received (the photo speaks for itself). Even though the final result was visibly poor, I was still charged $45. The technician appeared inexperienced, as if he had never done a full set before. The nails were uneven, poorly applied, and frankly embarrassing. I had them removed as soon as possible, and just one week later my nails developed an infection (“greenies”) — something I have never experienced before — clearly due to improper application and sanitation. To make matters worse, I was not offered or given a refund. I strongly recommend avoiding this salon. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give.

I walked in today and was able to be seated immediately. Anna did my pedicure and I will ask for her again. She was very careful and did an excellent job. Ricky did my fingernails and I’m happy with them, too. It was a friendly, warm experience. All the Staff there can communicate with you in English. This is my new favorite nail salon in Half Moon Bay.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I had such a horrible experience here that I feel it’s necessary to share. I came in for a dip manicure. The woman doing my nails drilled them and then started doing new dip on top of my old dip which I had never experienced before so I asked why she didn’t take off my old powder before starting. She said since it was going to be the same color that it just needed a fill. I let her do her thing. After several layers of dip, I noticed she wasn’t putting the powder all the way down to my cuticle and because it was on top of the old manicure it was so extremely thick. It also was not the same color so there was a line where my old manicure ended and the new powder started. Which was obvious because she was using clear powder. I asked her to just remove all of it

Worst manicure! She didn't do my cuticles and then tried to tell me that she did after I said it many times but by then, she was already painting my nails. It was messy, you could still see the old color on the sides, there are bubbles, and my tips were rough. When I told her all these things she didn't seem to care and just walked away. The other woman, doing my pedicure, kept talking to her so, she finally came back over and said she wanted to fix it. She did try to fix it, and it looks slightly better, but you can tell that she is just really doesn't care about her quality of work. I live in Half Moon Bay and keep trying to find a good nail salon in the area so that I don't have to go over the hill. This was the last time. I really like this place the people there that do nails are really great and they do what you ask if you want a design on your nails they’ll do it I give this place five stars wonderful
