Eden DC Salon

I would not recommend this salon at all. I had a dry curly cut with Kennya, and I told her that I wanted layers while keeping my length so that I could put it into a ponytail. She cut the layers very harshly, even though I told her that the top part would curl more than the bottom. I stopped her while I was in the chair and told her that the way the layers looked wet would not dry correctly. She called over another stylist, and instead of taking my concerns into account they simply told me that the layers were "correct" and it would look fine. Then, she did not fully dry my hair to see how the cut looked. Now, it's dried, and as I said while sitting in the salon, it looks like it has two choppy layers and the overall shape is terrible. I mean, if you want your hair to be brilliant, Eden DC is it. But only come here if you want your hair to be its most fabulous self. They’re better than good at *everything*. Eden, Sabrina and Jasmine have been doing this forever, and every other stylist apprenticed in house. We started going years ago and have been loyalists since visit one. My partner has a ton of coarse, fine hair that gets cut short. I have medium length curls and enjoy playing around with extensions sometimes and with color all the time (and that includes finding a “better” natural color than my own!). Anyone with hair will feel so styling when they walk out of here. Our family is known for its good hair. It’s not a secret — it’s Eden’s! 10/10, 5 stars, gold medal, A+ all around

I like the salon experience itself and it was nice of them to take me as a walk in but i got Charged $95 for a “textured” blow dry when my hair is permed and was done in less than 40 minutes. Not sure what constitutes a regular blow dry vs a textured blow dry if my hair is relaxed.

Seghen was fantastic! She took time to get to know my hair both dry and wet, review photos and ideas, and keep me in the know on products used and steps she took to cut and style. She's lovely to talk to, and she made sure I got the exact look I wanted. Plus, I feel more confident about styling my hair. Ask for Seghen!

10/10 - always infatuated with my hair after I leave Eden and her lovely salon. She did a cut and balayage on my dark blond hair today and it, as usual, it came out beautifully! Highly recommend for the perfect combination of expertise, relaxing vibes, and great conversation.
