Discoverypoint School of Massage

It wasn’t clear at all what kind of massage the students were learning. I stopped the “massage” because I didn’t find what they were doing helpful. Perhaps it’s something new to the field but it made me tense rather than relaxed. What I got was warm hands touching my body but not massaging. It wasn’t what I was expecting at all. The student should have explained that they dont teach actual massage. It was some type of “release” technique. Not helpful.

I am a DPSOM alumni and absolutely loved my experience at this school. It was very holistic, well structured, and I studied under teachers who became role models and now colleagues.

I attended Discovery Point School of Massage here in Seattle back in 2016. It was SUCH an incredible experience - for many reasons! The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and I felt so supported by them. I went to massage school thinking, "I think I'd be good at this" and then came out learning SO much more than just massage techniques. Going to school here taught me so much about myself and was a truly healing experience. It's been 5 years since I've graduated and I now have a thriving private practice and still absolutely love what I do. I cannot recommend this school and this career path enough.

The most experienced and thoughtful educators - I feel privileged to have gone to one of the best massage schools in the country. Studying at Discoverypoint School of Massage with their remarkably competent teachers and staff was an honor. I graduated confident and ready to enter a career in massage therapy, well equipped with resources and skills beyond those of more experienced therapists. They've struck a shining balance of razor sharp professionalism and excellence with authentic generosity, humor, and humility, making Discoverypoint the top shelf school it is. I'd send anyone interested in studying massage therapy here for the richest, most high caliber education in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a student in my first semester at Discoverypoint, and loving it. The teachers do a great job of making the information memorable, and the tests reflective of learning. having spent the last two years as a teacher, I am very impressed with the quality of the classroom learning at Discoverpoint. I also have to agree with the previous review that Discoverypoint focuses on producing therapists who know how to heal rather than cookie cutter stereotypes who do the same routines without acknowledging the tissue under their hands. So far, all of my practice clients are loving what I am learning at Discoverypoint. Edit: After working in the field for almost 5 years, I am happier than ever with my choice to attend Discoverypoint. High quality education for sure.
