My boyfriend and I started going here after both of us received unfortunate haircuts from a stylist at a different salon. From the beginning we knew we were in good hands with Mallory. She started us off with an extensive consultation. Which we both really liked, because she asked all the right questions making it clear that she was on the same page as us regarding our haircare goals. She was very professional, and fun at the same time. My boyfriend was very pleased with his cut and style. When it came to my hair, she walked me through different techniques to help speed up my drying time but also reduce damage to my hair. I’m very satisfied with my haircut and style as well. She does offer some products in her salon, and the good thing is, they are affordable! We can’t wait to go back for

I came for a red-colored balayage. What I got was more like an ombre. I like the red color, but there is a very defined line where the color begins, and the whole bottom of my hair is colored rather than color interspersed through my hair like a balayage is supposed to be. I've had balayage before, and it took 2 or more hours, and had a finishing/glazing step. This took about one hour at this salon and was single-step. The stylist said she has done a lot of balayage before. I'm not so sure. She offered to fix it in a few days if I still didn't like it, but I don't trust her to fix it. Not a great result for a salon that says they specialize in hair color and extensions.

Tabi gave me the most beautiful highlights and haircut! It was my first time in (I just recently moved to Arvada and was looking for a new hair salon) and she knocked it out if the park! I feel so beautiful! Thank you so much! I’ll definitely be back to see Tabi again soon!

This used to be my favorite go to place... Not anymore...If you want pictures. Please ask me, but beware they are horrible. I recently got a cut, full head of highlights and style here and it came out horrible. I didn't notice it right away because I asked to have it curled. Once I washed it out and was able to look at the back of my head in the mirror, I literally started crying. The whole back of my head has no highlights, she only highlighted the front of my head. The highlights are bleeding in multiple spots. I wrote to them to let them know what happened and I still haven't heard back. I was really really disappointed as I've been here before and had wonderful results. There was a new stylist this time and unfortunately I do not think I will be returning. Design dei Capelli is the ONLY place I Trust to get my hair done. Mallory is an Expert at what she does and she Listens and communicates with all her clients. Her cuts, styles and colors are Always amazing!! I have Never had a bad cut, color or experience at Design dei Capelli! All the staff is super helpful and nice, it’s a fantastic and upbeat environment. I recommend it to All my friends and anyone who needs a stylist.
