DELUXE NAILS & SPA III

Before going to this salon, I did a lot of research and checked all the reviews. I saw some bad reviews, but I tried it anyway. I paid $70 for a regular pedicure and manicure, and I was very dissatisfied with the nails. The polish looked awful, the person didn't clean the polish around the nails, and the only good thing was the foot massage, which she didn't clean the nails before polishing. I would have done better myself.

My favorite place… but made an appt with the one girl who does my nails perfectly.. I mentioned that I’m not picky for pedicure but nails I want that specific person. My pedicure was with the nail tech I like and then a walk in came in and they made me have someone else for my dip while the nail tech I had an appointment with did the walk in… my nails look horrible. They are all different shapes and not even. They are rough and jagged as she doesn’t file the nail prior to doing the dip powder she files them after the dip is on… they’re chunky and not well done. Highly upset as I made an appointment for a reason… As pictured middle finger is round and others are square.. and my thumb is just a total botch.

This was my first time going to Deluxe Nails. I got a dip manicure and gel pedicure. No complaints about the pedicure. I did leave disappointed after the manicure though. For starters, the woman I had clipped and filed my nails but did not address my cuticles. It honestly took me awhile to even notice she skipped that step, which I guess in a way is my own fault. Second, before we started to dip my nails I showed her the design I wanted (neutral color nail with a black floral design on 2 nails). After dipping was complete she told me she was unable to do the design I wanted. Since my nails were a neutral color they looked SUPER plain without a design. I go here on a regular basis with Linda or Allen. I always get gel manicure. They last about 1 1/2 weeks so since they started falling off before Mother’s Day I called to get an appointment but couldn’t get Linda so they put me in with Lee. She was very pushy with me and did a terrible job. She wanted me to get a full set (which i never had) and told her I just wanted the gel manicure to get in and out, same color as before 1.5 weeks ago to go with my toenails. She became very angry and started talking in a different language about me to her other surrounding coworkers. She was forceful and pretty nasty with me, pushing my hands back into the dryer. I have been going here for years and absolutely love this nail salon! Alan and Linda are amazing and I would highly recommend their services! Also the salon itself is gorgeous! Newly renovated and the classy style is absolutely beautiful! Best nails in the state!!
