I had a Brazilian Blowout and haircut at this salon and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. From the start, I brought reference photos and clearly explained that I was trying to grow out previous over-thinning and wanted long layers with fullness and movement. I also shared concerns about my hair losing density easily. This is a look that a previous stylist had been able to achieve for me successfully, so I knew it was realistic for my hair type. About halfway through the appointment, the stylist began repeatedly telling me that my hair was “difficult” and that it was not going to turn out the way I wanted. Instead of adjusting the approach or working collaboratively, the tone became discouraging. When I became visibly upset, I overheard the stylist telling coworkers that

My wife came home devastated and upon some research on the products used at this salon i don't blame her. They used Brazilian blowout, the brown bottle, and did not follow the standard treatment protocol for application, this left her hair unnecessarily heavy and flat for longer than needed given this modern treatment option. She asked for high face framing layers that held weight in the middle and got a conservative low layered cut that draws attentive downward on her already oval/ long face shape rather than to to get high cheekbones and eyes. She hasn't stopped crying in 4 hours. Based on her experience it sounds like they weren't listening to her at all, given that I paid for this service for her, that's the basis for my review.

Don't waste your time or money with Kuan. She is never on time for scheduled appointments! Especially if it's morning appointments. If your hair breaks, falls out, gets frizzy from over processing, she will blame any/all issues on you, like you had build up and you didn't rinse it out enough when washing. If you send a deposit via Zelle and send her a screenshot showing its completed, but she doesnt get it right away, she'll tell you if someone else pays a deposit sooner, they'll get your appointment time. Like I have any control over the Zelle app or the bank processing time. I booked in advance, paid a deposit, and then the day before my appointment, she sent a text saying the hair products delivery is running late, due to the weather. I told her I couldn't come that late in the day, so
