Da Barber Shop

Tommy has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now. He listens to me and is very talented!! The barbers work very well together, they're funny and they create a welcoming environment for everyone. Love this place!!

I did not have a very good experience when I took my two boys there. It is a primarily African American barber shop and my children are white. The sign said that children's hair cuts 10 and under were $13. They each sat with different barbers to have their hair cut. I had to pay each barber individually which is fine but then the first barber said it will be $20 after he had already cut my sons hair. I said "$20?" And he tells me it's because he had to use shears(scissors) so that's why it is more. So begrudgingly I paid the $20 and a tip. I ask the second barber how much my other sons hair would be(he was still cutting it) and he says $20. I asked him if he takes cards and he says no. So luckily I had $20 on me and had to bring him back a tip. No where in this building did it say cash onl

My husband and 2 boys have been going to this Barber Shop for the last 6 months. We love the people and the good vibes you get as soon as you walk through the door. Ask for Sean, he's a master barber. When my boys 6 and 16 get their hair cut whether it's a design or classic cut they are never disappointed. My barber has been professionally cutting my hair for over 2 decades. I have thick coarse 4C hair which can be quite difficult to handle. My barber gives my hair and scalp a good shampoo and conditioner. He then uses a hand-held dryer to brush my hair to its actual length. Lastly, he takes his time and uses the clippers and scissors and gives me the cut of my choice. If you want your hair cut right then visit Da Barber Shop and ask for Bernard.

My boys will only come here! They refuse to go to another shop. I seen a post about race, I have biracial children. One has my hair texture and the other 2 have coarse. I have never had an issue with the quality. In 18 years of getting my kids hair cut I have never been in a barber shop that accepts cards, a hair SALON yes. I also seen a statement below regarding that??? The wait is long and it’s hard to get a chair.... what does that tell you if a shop is always busy? The service is good.... as long as you have an appointment, you will be ok! I would give 10 stars if I could!
