Jessica has been my nail artist for years! She always does amazing work and is very great at bringing my inspiration photos to life. Jessica is very kind to me and she has never disappointment me. I’ve done both Gel X extensions and gel polish on my natural nails, with services always being completed under 2 hours, no matter how difficult the design is. Cosmo Nail and Hair Bar is also a clean and elegant location.

Kai is seriously the best. He’s super friendly, takes his time with every set, and never rushes his work. The nail shaping alone is always on point and I’m always tempted to just stop there because of how great they look!! Every set I’ve gotten has exceeded my expectations. I’ve genuinely never been dissatisfied — highly recommend! 🤭 (I added 2 photos for reference but I’ll come back later and update it with more)

I have been coming to my friend Kai at cosmo for over a year now and I wouldn’t change this experience for anything else. Going to a new nail place can be a scary experience. From our first a first interaction he has made me feel so comfortable and listened to. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Extremely talented and always willing to go through all my inspirations pics. Definitely recommend him :) Oh and there’s mimosas Can’t wait to go back

12/05/2025 Update; Im so so so disappointed. I went for a short builder gel fill with Mindy today and my nails are ruined. Mindy was recommended to me by the staff for nail art and i was actually really excited based off of the pictures i saw on her instagram. However Because of my appointment with her I honestly won't be going back. Like EVER. I spent $92 just to turn around and spend even more to to have my nails fixed at another salon. She never asked me what shape or length I wanted, she way overfiled my nails to the point they hurt and were splitting at the sidewalls. They werent even salvageable. Ive spent a long time growing my natural nails out with builder and I had to cut all my length off today and do a gel x set to prevent ingrown fingernails because of how damaged and WAY over

This place is my favorite nail place I’ve been to in Gainesville so far. TRUST the nail techs here know what they’re doing. Louis is my favorite I want to gatekeep him so I can keep getting my appts in, but at the same time, I want to give credit for his skills and put you guys on to the GOAT. Also, if you’re 21+ there’s a full bar in the middle of the nail salon which I’ve never seen before, it’s cool. Come here for nails!!! The atmosphere is great and the massage chairs have heaters.
