CHOP Barbershop - Holly Springs

I stopped in for a haircut and ended up having a really good experience. The place was clean, everyone seemed relaxed, and the staff actually looked like they enjoyed working there. At one point I asked about the ownership because the vibe felt different from the last time I was in. A couple of them mentioned the shop has new owners and that things have gotten even better since. They said the previous owner wasn’t bad, but the new ones really stepped things up. My haircut came out just how I wanted, and the price was pretty much the same as every other place around here, so no sticker shock. Overall, it just felt like a solid, well-run shop. I’ll definitely come back.

If we could give no stars we would. We brought our son in for a haircut with Tyler. Overall it looked fine but above his right ear was a chunk of hair that had been cut. It was incredibly obvious. My husband reached out to CHOP and was told there was no way to directly communicate with the stylist. Encouraged him to send in a photo with a message, which he did. He never received any reply. It’s disappointing Tyler doesn’t care that he made a mistake and made no attempt to remedy the situation. We would have been happy with an acknowledgment and simple apology. I think the silence speaks volumes about his quality of character and the lack of pride he takes in his work. Would not recommend him to anyone.

I had such a wonderful experience at Chop Barbershop in Holly Springs. Christian was very professional and able to take my hair from being past shoulder length down to a Mohawk, a total 180 degree flip. Very impressed and I loved the huge transformation, would highly recommend for any sort of cut you could want. Will be coming back again for sure!

Aislinn is truly amazing. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire appointment. Her attention to detail is incredible, and I left feeling confident and refreshed. Not only is she extremely talented, but she’s also kind, professional, and easy to talk to. I couldn’t be happier with my hair and already can’t wait for my next appointment. Highly recommend!

I took my 12 year old son to Chops in Holly Springs for a haircut & Tyler Jackson did an amazing job!! He was friendly, patient & really took the time to make sure my son felt comfortable in the chair. The cut came out perfect — clean lines, great fade & exactly what we asked for. He also keeps my boyfriend’s beard perfect consistently. You can tell Tyler takes pride in his work & pays attention to every detail. The shop itself has a great vibe — clean, welcoming & professional. We will definitely be coming back & I highly recommend Tyler to anyone looking for a skilled barber who knows how to connect with his clients — Tyler is the best!! 🩵
