I brought my 3-year-old son, Louie, in for a haircut, and I could not be more impressed with the experience. The barber was extremely knowledgeable, calm, and genuinely patient, which made all the difference with a toddler. From the moment we sat down, he took the time to explain what he was doing, moved at my son’s pace, and never rushed the process. What really stood out was how comfortable and safe my son felt throughout the entire haircut. There were no tears, no stress, just professionalism and kindness. The barber clearly understands how to work with young children and knows how to balance skill with empathy. The haircut itself came out excellent, clean, even, and exactly what we hoped for. I usually receive a really good experience from my usual barber but today I arrived and she was going to lunch so she suggested I get cut by her mentor. The experience was the worst I have had in a very long time. He was not a good listener and argued with all of the suggestions I wanted for my haircut and this was even after I showed him reference photos and a photo of me with the cut I had in the past. During the haircut he was joking and talking with multiple workers and other patron instead on checking in to see if was on the right path of what I wanted. Usually the presentation of the haircut is pristine and my hair was not even and he did not give a mirror to see the back.
